The wind has continued to blow us across Saskatchewan, the province that wins so far for most friendly honks and waves and most roadkill.
In Moose Jaw, we had our first full screening at a municipal hall - in the Council Chambers no less! Thanks to Don and Martha who put us up in Moose Jaw when the skies seemed to be darkening just a little too much for happy tenting. Once again, we got great feedback from everyone who attended!
In Regina, we managed to get a full colour photo and story in the local newspaper, which apparently goes a long way because the library room was pretty darn full that evening. I know I say all our crowds are enthousiastic, but the Regina people were more so. Everything that we think is the least bit funny in the film, they thought was hilarious; every sobering statistic garnered a gasp. It absolutely made our night. Plus, were were able to get rid of some of our recycling and compost to the crowd.
So, after a relaxing day off, exploring Regina and the Museum of Natural History, and after spending one cushy night in a great B&B and one cushy night in a hostel, we're hitting the tent again and heading towards Manitoba.
