Clean Bin Tour Day 3

Our cross Canada tour kicked off on Thursday a little earlier than planned. At 6:45 am we had an interview on CBC's early edition at their downtown studios! We managed to leave our house at 7:30, stopping by one of the 'bike to work week' commuter stations as we headed to Langley.  Let me tell you - the bike paths from Vancouver to Langley are amazing! We were on segregated bike paths or at least painted bike lanes the entire way!  Pretty easy going, but perfect for 2 folks who have spent the last 3 months in the editing room.

We had a great lunch and learn with the Township of Langley (thanks guys), and spent a very cushy first night with Grant's aunt and uncle.  On Fri, we cycled to Mission - the Golden Ears Bridge is great for bikes - where Kevin of Cinema Politica had organized a show for us at the Open Nite Theatre. Awesome venue; awesome group of people! We had standing room only in the little theatre, and there was some great discussion afterwards.  It was especially cool to see a bunch of kids/youth at the show. Check out our facebook page to see what Grant and I had to say after the show.

Today we made it to Hope via Lougheed Hwy - a gorgeous ride along the water - but we're definitely feeling it a bit. It looks like we'll be out of internet range for a couple days while we go through Manning Park, but we're looking forward to our next show in Osoyoos. If you know anyone in the Okanagan, please let them know about it.  We're relying on word of mouth on this tour!
