Two bits of news:

First, we have some great community screenings this month including Collingwood (Be the Change Film Series), Tofino, and Ucluelet (Both with Surfrider and The Raincoast Education Society

Second, for the next 30 days, we're running a crowdfunding campaign. We've been working on this project and film for nearly 3 years, and we're pretty darn excited to head down to the US for our festival premiere. In order to get us there, we're running a crowdfunding campaign to help us raise funds for things like transportation and accomodation. Big News!

We got into our first film festival! It's the Vail Film Festival in Colorado, and we couldn't be more excited for what will be our US premiere.

Meanwhile, we are finishing off the special features for the DVD this week. Grant's actually watching the behind the scenes cut as I type. If all goes well, we'll have DVDs available for community screenings by April - just in time for Earth Week. Details soon!

Communities Screenings Gearing up for 2011

We're super excited to be kicking off 2011 with community screenings in Squamish and New Westminster!

In Squamish we are being hosted by Quest University, and students will be able to attend for free. Public is PWYC (sliding scale $5-10)

In New Westminster, we are partnering with the Royal City Farmers Market (and you know we love farmers markets). They are holding their annual AGM at 5:30, and we are playing the film at 7:30. Members get in for just $3. Public is PWYC (sliding scale $5-10)
